My friends Tina and Cassie are thrifting queens. They frequent flea markets and antique shows to hunt for items to repurpose. I am usually too lazy to join them to shop, since they always leave early in the morning and I love to sleep. I'll have to learn to appreciate the sunrise with them more because this weekend Timothy and I joined them as vendors at our first sale and I'm hooked.
Timothy and I kept it simple and sold some succulents and a few hand painted signs. We didn't have quite the response that we hoped for, the crowd wasn't really looking for what we were selling since this was more a rummage sale. We still had fun at the booth with our friends and are excited to keep making more items to sell in the future. My parents were there selling some things my dad made too. He has been making some rad reclaimed wood trays with leather handles that fit a vase or glass that I'm pretty obsessed with. So much so that I used them to style my pictures haha.
